Hindu youth across the world don’t know why their civilisation is worth preserving — the Saraswati Sangam Project is building that knowledge through writing competitions and mentorship.
Dr. Shrikant and Apanaji introduce the Saraswati Sangam Project — a diaspora-led initiative operating out of the United States that runs annual writing competitions and mentorship programmes designed to reconnect Hindu youth globally with their civilisational inheritance. The founding insight: today’s generation has deep pride deficits, not because Indian civilisation lacks achievements but because there is near-total ignorance of what those achievements actually are — and even less awareness of their continued relevance to solving 21st-century challenges.
The programme goes beyond academic outreach — it trains young Hindus to “wear the Hindu identity on their sleeve with pride and confidence,” providing career counselling alongside civilisational education. A short, purposeful episode that introduces a meaningful grassroots institution for the Sangam Talks community to engage with and support.
