When we make efforts to investigate the history of ancient civilisations like that of Bharat, exploring the emic model is paramount, and that in Indian history reveals a deep understanding of ancient Indian civilisation. The pieces of evidence are abundant in the case of Indian civilisation, which one can find in this talk, which gave an engaging process of cultivating this ancient treasure of a knowledge system.
We need a critical analysis of the claims and rational logical thinking. For example, the importance of precise pronunciation and recitation in Sanskrit phonetics. Oral traditions, like those found in the Puranas, contain valuable records of geographical information, cosmology, and moral stories. The antiquity of Darshanas and the wisdom-building tradition in India, alongside the cyclical creation concept in ancient Indian philosophy, challenge established theories. The alignment of radiocarbon dating with Puranic timelines sheds light on the spread of Vedic culture and Buddha’s era. By delving into Indian texts and Puranas, we unravel unique perspectives on cosmology, cosmogony, and the peopling of India, shifting the discourse away from the Arian Invasion Theory toward Indian traditional accounts. Through understanding our true nature and historical narratives, we bridge gaps between disputed king lists and embrace the ancient Indian approach to life’s origin and cycle.
