Polluted rivers, drains choked with garbage, and open defecation in today’s India are a far cry from the wisdom that was embedded in ancient India. Sahana Singh makes the case that the sanitation problems being faced in India today stem from a disconnect with old traditions and knowledge. It is time to apply the Indic lenses to tackling the challenges of poor sanitation.
