India’s ancient history goes back well beyond 3000 BC — and the reason modern historians can’t see it is a biblical mindset baked into the foundational assumptions of Western chronology.
Dr. Vedveer Arya, military officer and Indic chronology researcher, presents the core argument of his work: the entire framework of world chronology was corrupted when 18th-century Christian historians tried to reconcile Egyptian, Sumerian, Assyrian, and Jewish timelines against a creation date of 4000 BC. Any Indian data placing civilizational existence before 3000 BC was dismissed — despite Greek sources like Arrian’s Anabasis recording 6,400+ years of Indian history before Alexander, and 153 successive kings listed in Megasthenes.
His specific finding is a 661-year chronological error that pervades both Indian and Western medieval history — a jigsaw puzzle where disturbing one piece requires rebuilding the whole. He argues archaeology must be a supporting evidence for chronology, never the primary source; traditional literary evidence establishes the timeline first. Correcting three specific blunders in existing chronological frameworks, he believes, would allow a perfect world chronology to be established — one that restores India’s actual civilizational timeline from Mahabharata to the present.
