Forever Ayodhya: The Social And Legal Perspectives | Dr. K Elst | Sridhar Potaraju | DU Lit. Fest

The city of Ayodhya holds immense historical, cultural, and political significance. Its importance dates back to ancient times and is deeply rooted in its rich cultural heritage. One of the most significant aspects of Ayodhya’s history is the timeline of demolitions and reconstructions of the Ayodhya temple. The temple’s destruction and the enduring relevance of spiritual grit and the pursuit of Dharma in Ayodhya’s history are still relevant today. Despite attempts by leftist historians to create fallacies, the birthplace of Bhagavan Ram has been confirmed through key documentation, witness testimonies, and even pieces of evidence found in Muslim sources.
Bhagavan Ram is considered a benchmark for human conduct in Indic culture. Temples are seen as symbols of spiritual strength and devotion, and hence, ‘Bhakti’ plays a significant role in the Ayodhya movement and the court case.
