Drones are emerging as a key element of modern-day warfare. India, with complex surrounding geography, needs to prepare for this challenge on a conventional as well as asymmetric front. Such measures should be part of India’s futuristic defense investment. Beyond warfare, this dual-use technology offers critical commercial and economic opportunities for India. India should grab this opportunity.
