The Rigveda has many suktas praising the eternal parents, the Heaven and the Earth, but the Bhumi Suktam mostly studied is from the Atharva Veda. It is a hymn comprising of 63 mantras to Mother Earth. Unity in Diversity is the principal intention and the overarching feeling is to pay the highest tribute to Earth, which is likened to a milch cow and our mother. It is an amazing illustration of seeking harmony and concord in the diversity of people.
