Adi Shakti Revealed: Para Shakti vs Apara Shakti | Understanding Divine Feminine Consciousness | Maa Gyaan Suveera

Consciousness is like light — it shows everything equally and changes nothing. ParaShakti is unconditional; AparaShakti is the field where we play out our karma. In this second-day session, Maa Gyaan Suveera deepens the previous day’s teaching on Adi Shakti by introducing the crucial distinction between ParaShakti — the unconditional, pure consciousness that simply illuminates without interfering — and AparaShakti, the manifested creative force through which all of creation unfolds.
The question “where is God when terrible things happen?” is answered with philosophical precision: consciousness does not act. It shines like light. If there is garbage in a room, the light shows garbage. If there are flowers, it shows flowers. The light itself is never diminished. Consciousness empowers whatever exists in the individual and collective causal body — meaning free will and collective karma play out within a framework of pure, non-interfering awareness.
The session explores how mythology — the many forms of Shiva, the various Devi rupas — should be held simultaneously as culturally meaningful and as pointers to a single undivided truth: one consciousness, one energy, one Parmatma. Maa Gyaan Suveera closes with a practice of visualising holding the Devi’s hand at every moment — a devotional bridge that leads, through Dvaita, toward the ultimate Advaita realisation.
