Prof. Kapil Kumar, is a senior fellow at the Nehru Museum & Library (NMML), New Delhi. He is also the Chief Historian of 4 Museums at the Red Fort & Former Director, Centre for Freedom Struggle & Diaspora Studies, IGNOU. He has been engaged in studying the role of Netaji and INA in India’s freedom struggle from 1945-1947 (or after his disappearance) in the past years, he has uncovered almost 40,000 papers from the national archives that had been conveniently brushed under the carpet. Above all, he is a “determined nationalist” dedicated to unearthing the suppressed realities of Hindustani History.
