Prof Kapil Kapoor, distinguished academic, and former Pro-VC of JNU and Professor at the Centre for Sanskrit Studies, has left an indelible mark in academia. Serving as the Editor-in-Chief for the monumental Encyclopaedia of Hinduism and Encyclopaedia of Indian Poetics, his scholarly contributions have been extensive. Additionally, as the Chairman of IIAS-Shimla, and his current roles on the Editorial Committee of IHRC (National Archives), IPF-Delhi, and the Executive Council of NMML, Delhi, Kapoor continues to play a pivotal role in shaping intellectual discourse and preserving India’s cultural heritage.
