Indumati Raman is author of ‘Bhagavata Mela My Tryst with Tradition’. Alumna of Kalakshetra, Chennai, she worked for a decade with Bhagavata Mela, an ancient tradition of Thanjavur. As National Tagore Fellow, her current research is on a theatre genre called yakshaganams.
