Importance Of RigVeda’s Dāśarājña And Bharata Pūru Battles | Shrikant G Talageri

This talk deals mainly with the Dāśarājña or Battle of Ten Kings which took place in the Early Rigvedic period. This battle (one in a series of Bharata Pūru battles which took place over a period of many centuries) actually faded out from the traditional historical memory of the nation. But in the modern context it acquires tremendous importance because it provides us actual recorded evidence of the emigrations of Indo-European speaking people from their Original Indo-European Homeland in North India.
