Honey Bees & Ecology: Are We Moving Towards A Flowerless Spring? — A Talk by Kavya Dashora

Honeybees being the major pollinator on this planet, are in a critically endangered situation due to excessive and irresponsible exploitation of forests by the humans. The honeybees just not only transfer the pollen, but are also responsible for the existence of life, formation of new seeds and sustainability of species. Prof Kavya will speak on the ecological significance of Indian and Italian bees, their role in ecosystem restoration and what measures can be now taken to control the damage done by harming honeybees to sustain the life on this planet.
