Bose in South East Asia And His Negotiations With Japan — A Talk By Gen. Prabir Chakravorty

That the armed forces is one of the most major components of a nation was best understood by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Netaji was one of the transformation leaders of the world. Without any basic military training, Netaji took on the biggest superpower, Britain.

About the Speaker:

Maj General Prabir Chakravorty is an alumnus of National Defence Academy who was commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery on 31 March 1972. A Silver Gunner who has undergone the Long Gunnery Staff Course, Staff College and is a graduate of the National Defence College, he has commanded a Medium Regiment and a Composite Artillery Brigade. He was Deputy Director General at Perspective Planning Directorate, Major General Artillery of an operational Command, Commandant of Selection Centre South in Bangalore and Additional Director General Artillery dealing with procurement and operations at Army Headquarters.
