Hindu Masjids | Tales of Converted Mandirs into Masjids | Prafull Goradia | Jaganniwas Iyer

Prafull Goradia shares insights from his experience during the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition and discusses his book ‘Hindu Masjids.’ He delves into the longstanding conflict between Hindus and Muslims in India, focusing on the conversion of Hindu temples into mosques. Goradia emphasizes that suppressing historical truths only perpetuates this conflict. An important aspect of his work is the distinction he makes between temples converted into mosques and mosques built from demolished temples. He underscores the significance of acknowledging these distinctions to understand the complexities of the issue. Goradia also reflects on the creation of Pakistan, suggesting it was, in a way, beneficial for Hindus. He further addresses the dissolution of the Hindu Mahasabha, urging Hindus to stand up for their beliefs and protect their temples. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of educating future generations about these historical and cultural aspects.
