Anita Basu is an author, artist, social worker, expert in Indian knowledge systems and the first Indian woman guide of Bangkok National Museum. She studied Indian art, Indology, Ramakrishna and the Vivekananda movement and is a guest Lecturer at Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture. She has done extensive studies on Indian culture, art, heritage and its impact in Southeast Asia. She has written books like Ramayana Footprints in Southeast Asian Culture and Heritage, Bangabhumite Ramayan Charchar Oitijhyo etc.
